Joy from the garden – surplus garden herbs; not for sale, no profit motive, purely a complimentary extra. Freshly harvested chives – joy from the garden. 

Food prices are skyrocketing – we are giving away our surplus. 

Price of silver, 27.8.26: 1,91 € per gramme

(1 oz 59,42 € or 1 kg  1.911,68 €) 

Chives in quantity of 0,16 oz = 4,54 g by 

Schwartz (Mcormick, UK):   2,30 £, 1 g >> 2,68 €

Haggen (Mcormick, USA):   2,42 $ 1 g >> 2,08 €

So the price for a kilo is 2300 £ or 2420 $ respectively or 2680 € and 2080 €. For a spice, a vegetable if you so want. That´s not bad ...

Any catch? 

Well, the order does need to total more than € 27. This can also be split across two smaller orders placed on the same day.
We’ll include a small envelope containing about 5g with your shipment, or send it separately to the customer free of charge. Don’t forget to provide your name and order number to claim this special gift. 

Joy from the garden – Our herbs: 

A selection depending on the season—currently chives. Lovingly watered and tended daily, "spoken to" with a magic spell, and finally air-dried outdoors in the shade—pure plants, just as they grow. No jarring turbo-freeze-drying in a machine, and no brutal irradiation (which is actually permitted for spices).

Can anyone help? 
Task: By what percentage did the chives from the aforementioned companies exceed the price of silver per gram? As we are country pumpkins, deeply rooted in agriculture, we can't work this out ....
